Outdoor "Helen"

High of +19 today... See you at 4:00!

"Helen":
Three rounds for time:
400 m run
21 bell swings (30lbs women/55lbs men)
12 pull-ups

Location = School yard (pull-ups on the monkey bars)
Yes ladies, we have graduated up to 30lb bell swings!!
Prescription is 35lbs, so we are almost there.

It was great to run outdoors today! Brandy came, we worked out and my time was 12:52. A whole bunch of kids at the playground did the workout too. It was neat that they were all so interested in what we were doing.
Sombra and Kendra came later and I did "Helen" again. My second time was 15:49. It's obviously best to do the WOD when you're fresh!
(We did some gymnastic ring work in between. We really have to do that more often and all learn to do the Muscle-Up).

WEll, clearly I worked too hard on those rings before doing the WOD, because even though I was fresh, Robin beat me in her second go round.. lol

I did it in 16:58

Did I tell you I hate working out? it's too hard.. Whine whine whine. (I bet Aaron will make me do extra for that whining.)

My time was 13:39... it was alot of fun doing it outside, and the kids joining along was fun...

Well, although I LOVE being outside - I can't say I enjoyed the workout as much as the rest of you. I absolutely HATE running (no Aaron, I'm not whinning, just stating facts). I walked a lot, my knee is verrry sore now - had surgery on it a couple of times and was hoping this wouldn't happen so I could perhaps start to enjoy running. Always hated squats and my knee was sore from those in the beginning but I pushed through and really love them now. The running however has taken me right out of commission.

The rest of the workout I loved! The pull-ups and bell swings - always love those! And I'm getting better at pull-ups, still have to jump but I'm getting way more control on my way down which is SO COOL!

Did this workout in 18:01 - I'm surprised I wasn't there til dark.LOL
